Chip-removing machining

In chip-removing machining, material is removed by taking chips off. For example, when turning or milling, the removed material becomes chips.

Chip-removing machining is a general turning, milling, and drilling method in various forms. CNC turning and CNC milling are two types of chip-removing machining. CNC (Computer Numerical Control) means that chip-removing machining typically takes place fully automatic and computer-controlled today.

Povl Møllers Maskinfabrik also offers chip-removing machining of large parts in all materials.

Since the 1920’s we have built up years of experience and extensive expertise in chip-removing machining of large parts in all materials. We primarily perform machining of large parts with small tolerances in single pieces or small series. In our versatile machine factory, you will find professional equipment for turning, milling, surface grinding, cylindrical grinding and gear cutting.
